To my audience of professional writing student's in writing an email to a big company. Here are some point's and guidelines you should follow when writing a email. First following "Netiqeutte", which means etiquette on a network. The first guideline is:
1. Stick to business when your writing a email, don't send jokes or not business material to other co- workers.
2. Don't waist bandwidth, be very brief and just paraphrase original emails.
3. Use appropraite formality, make sure the structure of your email is correct.
4. Write correctly, make sure your grammer is good and don't forget to edit.
5. No flaming, Do not respond to someone when you are angry.
6. Be honest, Don't lie in your email. Tell the truth.
7. Don't type in "CAPS", it will hurt the readers eyes and it looks bad in emails.
8. Research your facts/Cite sources, The internet is to big not to do your own research, so find the truth for youself.
9. Don't send an email unless you have something to say, Don't send a message just to be part of the conversation, that's looking for attention and trouble at the same time.
10. Keep it PG-13, do not be vulgar with your language, make it readable to where a kid can read it.
That is proper "Netiquette" for writing an email, and I hope in reading these guidelines that you gain proper learing in your carreer or business in writing a professional email.

Thoughts on today...
The Speaker: Kevin Seeber
In todays class Kevin Seeber presented his presentation on publishing. I thought it was a really great presentation on how copyright and publishing work in the world, especially on our campus at CSU-Pueblo. I also thought it was interesting on how he spoke about Harvard University and how the students that attend their don't pay tuition because their school is so rich and they have billionaires donating billions of dollars to their school. Man I wish I could attend so I didn't have to worry about paying back school loans and things like that. Kevin I thought spoke about the real importannt things of copyright and publishing. The forms that he presented in class in the many paperwork you have to fill out and sign before publishing your work, I thought was quite interesting because publishing work I thought you had to sign a lot of things requiring the law and many other important documents.
The Article: "Price to Sell"

The Article: "Price to Sell"
In today's world technology has increased temendously. Apple the number one capital of technology has gave technology another name for what they do for our world, that also refers to other technology like the new kindle and the internet of course. Technology I feel is the new medium in our society today. I say because nobody really reads the paper anymore because the world has moved to a new medium in the world. Companies that have stopped making money because the internet has provided them with so much access I think they stop complaining, and capitalize on the added exposure that piracy provides by making money through touring, merchandise sales, and yes, the sale of some of their music to people who still want CDs or prefer to buy their music online. Back in the day newspapers were the first medium of technology and they were making so much money in their newspaper companies , in todays world newspaper companies today need to accept that their content is never again going to be worth what they wanted it to be when it first came out.
Overall I think this article was a very good learning provider, because out world is changing every year and almost every day and as we speak. Technology is becoming more than what we can handle I feel because it has grown so much and progressed throughout the years and we as a society have to move with technology and grow with it.

Rhetorical Precis
Chapter 3: Rhetorical Précis
In the chapter “Writing Technical Documents” (2012), Mike Markel asserts the writing process when writing an important document. In the chapter he breaks down the writing process in five steps. Those five steps are planning, drafting, revising, editing and proofreading. What makes the process difficult and frustrating is that the five steps are not linear. In this chapter Markel focuses on the techniques and tools that are most useful for technical writers. In doing this process he wants to enable the writer to write effective documents efficiently. In order to write effective documents in this chapter it discusses how to analyze your audience and the purpose of the subject you’re trying to write about. It gives examples in the chapter on how to brainstorm your writing and how to plan it out effectively and efficiently. After going through all the steps you should have a well prepared document ready to be published.

Chapter 4: Rhetorical Précis:
In the chapter “Writing Collaboratively” (2012), Mike Markel implies effective information on advantages and disadvantages of collaboration, managing projects, conducting meetings, Using social media and other electronic tools in collaboration, gender collaboration and culture and collaboration. Markel states in his mission of this chapter that “Every document calls for a unique kind of collaboration”. He wants to imply and challenge people to think creative and how they can work effectively with others and increase the excellent thoughts in their documents they prepare for themselves. Collaborating with other people and collaborative tools can prompt you to consider people around the world who can help you think and write about it forcefully and convincingly.

My "Code of Ethics" as a writer ...
As a writer I want to become better, experienced and creative with my words and thoughts that go along with my writing. I believe every writer has a code of ethics of their own and I think it's good to look back on your code of ethics when writing. In my blog I'm going to list my codes of ethics and what I expect as a writer and in my writings.
1. Accept responsibility for my work.
1. Accept responsibility for my work.
- Telling the truth in my writing, giving my opinion and not plagiarizing. Staying honest and truthful with your writing. In being a writer carries responsibilities that go beyond the need to write clearly with correct spelling and grammar.
- Being able to expand my mind in thinking when it comes to writing. Having the ability to create my writing with my thoughts and exploring new writing's as in reading different genre's in books and magazines, but also writing every day to improve my writing skills.
- Giving people credit of their work of course. By not crediting people of their work is highly inappropriate and it's not right. You could also get in trouble for taking someone else work and making it your own. This code of conduct follows with my first code with being responsible with your work.
- With my writing I want to be able to communicate the message clearly, so that the reader understands the meaning of my writing. In your writing I believe every writer should have a certain message that they want their target audience to see.
