My "Code of Ethics" as a writer ...

As a writer I want to become better, experienced and creative with my words and thoughts that go along with my writing. I believe every writer has a code of ethics of their own and I think it's good to look back on your code of ethics when writing. In my blog I'm going to list my codes of ethics and what I expect as a writer and in my writings.

1. Accept responsibility for my work.
  • Telling the truth in my writing, giving my opinion and not plagiarizing. Staying honest and truthful with your writing. In being a writer carries responsibilities that go beyond the need to write clearly with correct spelling and grammar.
2. To be a creative writer and thinker.
  • Being able to expand my mind in thinking when it comes to writing. Having the ability to create my writing with my thoughts and exploring new writing's as in reading different genre's in books and magazines, but also writing every day to improve my writing skills.
3. Credit the contributor's of others.
  • Giving people credit of their work of course. By not crediting people of their work is highly inappropriate and it's not right. You could also get in trouble for taking someone else work and making it your own. This code of conduct follows with my first code with being responsible with your work.
4. Understand and communicate with my writing.
  • With my writing I want to be able to communicate the message clearly, so that the reader understands the meaning of my writing. In your writing I believe every writer should have a certain message that they want their target audience to see.
These are my "codes of conduct" in writing.
